Stay strong!
A breast
cancer diagnosis can be grounds of a broad series of feelings such as
rejection, guiltiness, helplessness, worry, panic, and fear. These are
all common feelings that breast cancer holders might feel due to being a
stressful time for them and people around them. This is why it is very
important at that stage to build and maintain a strong support network of
relatives and friends.
A breast cancer diagnosis should make time to share their feelings with their
beloved ones. Co-survivors
of cancer may be a relative, friend, colleague or even a member from the
health care team. These people are there to help for many reasons such as:
• Providing
support throughout the whole experience.
• Helping with
daily or other tasks.
• Offering assistance
in collecting information concerning breast cancer.
Moreover,
talking or seeing a consultant or social worker would help with solving issues
that are related or part of the illness.
Lastly, a
discussion with a doctor is one of the best choices that can be taken by the breast
cancer holder.
